St. Mary Magdalene, Millfield is a parish rooted in the Catholic tradition of the Church of England. Our Church is under the sacramental and pastoral care of the Bishop of Beverley.

Wednesday 22nd July will be our PATRONAL FESTIVAL. 7PM SOLEMN MASS & PROCESSION FOLLOWED BY REFRESHMENTS

By Car exit the A19 onto the A183 towards Sunderland, go through 4 roundabouts and take a left onto the B1405, go past Sunderland Royal Hospital and turn right onto Hylton Road, take a left at the mini roundabout onto Wilson Street and the church is opposite the RAOB Club.
By Rail you can take the Metro from Newcastle Central or Sunderland Central to Millfield Station, the church is a 10-15 minute walk from there.
By Bus get on the number 10 or 20 from Sunderland Interchange and get off at the Willow Pond Public House, the church is a 5-10 minute walk from there.
